Serving Clients and Agencies

Life Span Center for Legal Service and Advocacy provides information, advice, and legal civil representation to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.  Individuals may contact us initially seeking only legal advice, information about their rights under the law, and to gain an understanding about their options and legal remedies provided under the law.  Staff is available at Cook County courthouses to assist or advocate on behalf of domestic violence victims. 

Life Span’s comprehensive services include individual parent and child counseling to families coping with domestic violence abuse or its aftermath.  Counseling staff offer violence prevention programming within high schools, elementary schools, and early childhood programs. 

Agencies also consult Life Span for professional advice, because we are one of the leading agencies that work solely for victims of domestic violence. In addition, we maintain many partner relationships with social service agencies in the Cook County area for purposes of referral and collaboration.
