Life Span provides information, advice, legal civil representation, counseling, court advocacy and immigration legal services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault within Chicago and Suburban Cook County.
With our information, experience and support, you decide what services work best for you, considering safety first.
Services We Offier
- Individual counseling in English, Spanish, Polish, or Arabic;
- Group counseling in English, Spanish or Polish;
- Child and teen counseling in English, Spanish, Polish or Arabic;
- Legal representation for divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time; support and other issues presented in Cook County’s Domestic Relations Division;
- Legal representation for civil orders of protection;
- Legal representation for civil no contact orders for victims of sexual assault;
- Criminal court advocacy;
- Legal representation on immigration cases;
- Advocacy with issues caused by the abuse, such as housing, education, and employment; and,
- Legal services are available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Polish, Czech, Assyrian and Greek; Life Span also provides interpreter services when this resource is needed to ensure language and communication access.
