Life Span’s Services
Over 40 Years of Empowering Survivors
Over 40 Years of Empowering Survivors
We have built a national reputation for excellence and innovation in program development and service delivery.
Our legal staff works together with counselors in the same agency, each discipline informing the others, to provide a unique, cohesive response to the violence that permeates the lives of our clients and their children.
Our comprehensive service design affords clients the best chance to achieve safety and freedom from violence.
Life Span empowers survivors of domestic and sexual violence to demand safety as a human right through client-centered services and leads social change through accountability, community engagement, and systemic advocacy.
Life Span does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity in the delivery of services. If you feel you have been discriminated against, you have the right to file a complaint with the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. The Authority can be contacted by calling their toll-free number: 1-888-425-4248, or writing them at 60 E. Van Buren Street, Suite 650, Chicago, Illinois 60605-1241.
