Congratulations to Life Span counselor Beisabel Velasco! She is now officially a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Beisabel completed over 2,000 hours of face-to-face (and zoom) client work and found time to take and pass the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam.
Upon learning of her stamp of approval from the state of Illinois, Beisabel said “I cried with joy seeing my dreams come to reality.”
Beisabel previously earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in Latino Mental Health, and she is also an Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP).
Beyond all her degrees and certifications, to the clients she serves, Beisabel is a culturally knowledgeable counselor with a kind ear and a determination to help survivors.
